Dr. Joe Zuska was a dear friend of mine. I met him many years ago through another good friend of mine. He was the doctor who started treating alcoholism in the military as a medical problem and was very influential on how the disease is treated. He was a terrific man - always full of life and such a flirt - even at his advanced age! (He used to call me "dangerous" ;))

He died last week at age 94.:(

There is a very nice article/obituary here. (http://www.latimes.com/news/obituaries/la-me-zuska24may24,1,2223818.story?ctrack=1&cset=true)
