Well, whatchya doin'?
My only plan is to attend a BBQ on Sunday that my awesome co-worker is throwing. My boss & everybody will be there, and I'm excited! I love love LOVE my boss and co-workers, so it should be a blast!
Tonight, my amazing Boyfriend & I will probably just hang out, watchin' TV & ordering take-out. Maybe we'll go out to dinner. Both of our jobs kind of zap us of energy, so you never know..
Saturday I might visit my Dad, Stepmom & Stepbrother. That would be fun! They have a lovely house at the beach & I'm sure the weather will be stellar so that could be a fun day! I love my family & always have so much fun with them.
Monday? I have no plans. I love doin' nothin'. My boyfriend & I will finally have a day off together, so I'm really lookin' forward to that! :)

I'm not as busy as I thought I'd be - although I do have some little and big fuzzies on my schedule. Tonight looks like DL is on the horizon. Saturday is the Cemetery. Sunday is a BBQ that I will try and make an appearance at. Monday, we'll see. I have more animals that day than any other day of the weekend. I'm going to make a concerted effort not to be so glum.

Working!
(Mainly because we don't have "Memorial Day" in Canada)
We instead have "Victoria Day", which is the Monday that falls between May 18-24. (This year, it was May 21)

Tonight: 30th Birthday of Star Wars viewing at a friend's who's got a huge wall screen ... and who knows which of my StarWars buddies may show up?! Old Skool Fun.
Saturday: zapppop and I will spend the day getting outfitted for our adventure to the bottom of the Grand Canyon the following week. Then it's off to our first Cemetery Screening of the Season, the alluring and intoxicating Hitchcock classic, Vertigo.
Sunday: Traditional Memorial Day Weekend BBQ that might just last till Memorial Day.
Monday: Leave that party at some point, try to recover a bit before having to go back to work. bah.

Tonight - girls' night at my friend's house. Courtesan movies, pomegranate chocolate chip ice cream, and gossip - what more could one want?
Saturday - nothing planned. May check out the undergrad theatre production of Into the Woods, may keep on with my deep cleaning kick, may do more gardening, may do home work, may finish the first half of my knitted wrap, may finish some socks, may try to do some sewing, may do all or none of the above.
Sunday - meeting a buddy to catch one or more of the Seattle International Film Festival films. (I've never done that, amazingly enough.)
Monday - If I didn't do homework Saturday, finish up the Tuesday assignment and try to anticipate the next week's assignment so I can stay ahead. Start work on my moot court brief. Keep cleaning/gardening/sewing/knitting.

Tonight I work. Tomorrow I work. Sunday I'm going to a Baptism & Monday I'm either going to Santa Barbara, or I'm going to LA to pick up my 'stang before my friend starts to think I'm giving it to him as a graduation present.
Pretty low-key weekend, but that's the way I like 'em!

I have to work tomorrow, and if I don't get arrested for murdering any of my clients (they've been collectively flaky all week- not showing, showing late, showing very late, changes places with each other without telling me, etc) I plan on four days of decompressing. Monday is my sister Bobbi's b-day (she says hi) and we're throwing a bbq for her.

This sucks, at home by myself watching Star Wars movies, fan documentaries and consuming a lot of Red Vines.
Meanwhile, my dear wife is in Las Vegas, where she has started off the weekend with a $100 win on a video poker machine, and tomorrow night she'll be seeing Bon Jovi in concert at Mandalay Bay.

My daughter came over last night, we had a LOST marathon... catching her up on the last five episodes and the finale. Today we caought an afternoon showing of Pirates.
The show is taking a couple of weekends off, but we are doing some promotional appearances. Tomorrow we're at a big church festival in Lake Oswego.
I'll be working on Sunday, but I do have Monday off. Dont' know what I'll be doing.

Today is the first day of the three-day weekend & so far today I've read every magazine possible (Us, Star, People, Life & Style, In Touch) with my hair tied back in a messy knot and citrus enzyme white clay mask all over my face. That's some sexy vision.
Now I'm donning my rubber surgical gloves to perform body cavity searches on all of the neighbors.
KIDDING! I'm donning rubber surgical gloves to do my cleaning. Nothin' gets me in the holiday party mood more then bleaching my bathroom. Tonight should be fun! I think my guy & I are going to go see Pirates 3 (considering the last time we went to the cinema it was to see Pirates 2) & I'm totally craving retail therapy. I'm thinking I'm going to go on a outfit & shoeapalooza tonight!
Oh, and not that anybody here cares, but I'll be starring in my very own, private, camera-less porno all weekend. Neener. :p ;)

Got back a couple of hours ago from war. Fun as always except up until last night when all the kids decided to have a barf-fest. Out of the seven kids in our group, five of them up-chucked last night and this morning, one had pink-eye (thankfully the "poked my self in the eye" variety and not the highly contagious variety) and one fell on Friday night next to/onto the fire pit. When everyone examined it Friday night, it appeared to just be a scrape and some nasty bruising. Since she wasn't crying at all and was back at playing within three minutes, it not seem to be something to worry about. However, come Saturday morning, when all of the blistering and pussing developed, it was a trip to Urgent Care for the poor three year old.
But other than that, it was a lot of fun.

I've had a busy weekend. Took my Mini in for it's first oil change and check-up, went to Santa Monica and Venice, cleaned the house, dinner with friends, Scottish Festival, misc work around the house - including installing a window AC, and today I made Spiedies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiedie) and Onion Pie for dinner....
Oh... forgot to add seeing Shrek the Third.

Saturday and Sunday I worked Sesame St. Live. Fun, but exhausting. And my part wasn't even all that big...
Today... mountain bike ride in the morning, a picnic, a nice ride across the valley floor and then down the trail at less than breakneck speed (my energy was kind of low).
We installed our new sink in the front bathroom, including a new faucet. I think the supply lines still need to be hooked up but that's minor. And the drain... but we need a part for that. We thought we could use the old one but something's wrong so no.
Tonight- mudslides and bad movies. "Land of the Dead", "The Ring", and now "Die Hard". :)

Saturday got my tat.
Sunday, not much of anything-did some laundry.
Monday, slept until noon, went to see The Old People, showed her my tat-no lecture, went home, watched Casino Royal while I folded and put away the 6 loads of laundry that had taken over my couch.

On Saturday, I finally managed to get a screen installed in our front window. I'm going to need to replace it at some point because I cut the frame just a bit too short and there are some gaps, but it's good enough for now and is allowing us to finally get some cross breeze into our place.
For the past 9 years we've lived in places with absolutely no natural air flow. Both of our apartments had all of their windows on one side. And with no screen on the front window and having to keep bedroom doors upstairs closed due to the bunny, the condo was beginning to get pretty stuffy. Now that we can open the window, it's like a whole new place.

Both of our apartments had all of their windows on one side.Surprisingly, our condo, with both sliding glass doors onto the same patio can get a mild pass-through of air just using these two doors.

I'm looking forward to some windows that we can actually open rather than the current ones we have now which the previous owner painted and nailed shut.

I don't get why people do that.
Our apartment has a decent window layout. Windows on each side wall to allow for a cross breeze. My bedroom on the other hand gets stuffy quickly. I keep the window open but have to keep the door shut to keep the KITTY! out.

Painted shut usually just means that whoever did the painting was sloppy and careless. Nailed shut? Gotta be issues there.
