I have two photos that I'd like to merge into one. It's actually a photo of Sam, the world's ugliest dog, and the face of a co worker.

http://static.manilasites.com/images/doc/samdog.jpg

http://montreal.ca.vitanovis.com/images/IMB250000000/thumb_IMB250000000_5442.jpg

I want to have his face superimposed on the dog, leaving the ears and tufts of hair, and maybe even the teeth with the leg in the mouth.

Anyone? Anyone? Does it take a long time to do something like this?

I wish I had Photoshop.

The product of this will become my desktop background. Assuming I can get it done.

I think the victim's face needs to be bigger, the same size as Sam's.

I have PhotoShop but I don't think I could do it. I ain't that good at it.
:)

Naughty Leo.

I'm glad I'm not your co-worker

Yeah, I've tried to mess around with it but I just don't have the skills.

My coworker and I have a friendly relationship....we play many jokes on each other, and this is just the latest.

That is so incredibly creepy!

In retrospect, I should have used that erase/opacity feature to get some of the facial wrinkles to come through, but I already flattened and saved, so it'll have to do as is.

What you did is ideal. My cube is on the main hallway at work, so everyone who walks by (I am known for unusual desktop pictures on my computer) will see it and be able to instantly tell who it is. It is PERFECT!

Isn't that going to be kind of small for a desktop wallpaper?

Morpheus photo morph (http://www.morpheussoftware.net/)

Ive used this. the effect is hilarious

It is, but on the stretch setting, from a distance of 10 feet or so (which is where people walk by), it is perfect. I tried it out on this PC (and now I can't find the pic my wife used to have on it....I don't suppose she'd be really happy if I left this one on it).

Lol- I instantly thought of Morri, but then I read on and saw she had worked her magic!

Nevermind, Morrigoon took care of it.

Wow, very ugly and also pretty creepy, too.

looks like the Crypt Keeper. bet he was a sweetheart IRL

(eh...maybe not)

MouseWife

Cryptkeeper, that is what it reminds me of.

I don't know if he has a face even a mother could love...

I wonder about that sweetheart part...with all of the problems he seems to have {looks blind?} he probably spent his time growling at people to get the f' away from him.

He was old, but I believe some of the basic "ugliness" is just inherent in the breed.

"Inherent" because people actually bred for those nightmarish qualities. Yeech.

Capt Jack

I like him. he remindes me of Jack, the undead monkey in the PotC movies.

I agree with CP on this...."Yeech".

{but thanks for clarifying that it isn't old age, blindness, skin disease, etc. that make him look this way....did I say "Yeech"? Oh, yeah....}

The eyes (and probably other "features" as well) are most likely due to old age - Sam was 15 years old after all.

Here is what a younger, well groomed one looks like:

Okay, I felt a twinge of guilt saying yuck at him for being old...

He {she} who has not aged cast the first stone....

the ones I see locally need to be groomed to look that good. seems they have a few stray hairs grow across that otherwise bald body. an ungroomed one looks...not so hot

I actually always really liked the tale of Sam - it was very touching and helped a lot of otherwise "un-adoptable" dogs find a home.

I cannot possibly tell you how hysterically funny this was at work today.

People were just erupting into laughter when they saw this. Morri, what a great thing you did for me. I owed my coworker (his name is Chris) and this has been exceptional. Many people around the office have asked for a copy of it to display on their own PC, which I have gladly obliged.

Hmm, you seem to be talking about this co-worker quite a bit, Scaeagles. I'm normally not the jealous type but....well, he better not be buyin' the ham, ya dig? That ham is our special ham, you whore.

scaeagles
06-20-2007, 08:48 PM
Nothing to be jealous of, MBC. He's not my type. I'm not into robbing the cradle, and he's much younger than me - probably 12 years. I think that October - May relationship thing is for lose.....oh. Never mind that last thought.

Let's just say he isn't my type.

Anyway, in the system we program, he put in some code in an area I don't deal with that basically said "If user = Leo, then do", and it would make odd things happen that I would report to him, and he would constantly tell me "no one else is complaining or experiencing that problem...hmmm..." and leave it at that. This went on for weeks. I finally discovered it and have wanted to get him back ever since.

I can't tell you how many times I've thought the exact same thing.
