How did you break your foot!?!?!
I went to Derek's church to go show the u/s pics to the girls at the office ( I absolutely love them) and I went to go check out the progress of their youth bldg which is across the street from the church. The bldg had a loading dock which has been enclosed with a railing. However, the slanted pavement has not been filled in. Well, I mis-stepped and twisted my ankle. broke the ankle and my 5th metatarsal........

You're the second person I know who, in the last few weeks, has broken their foot and ankle at a construction site.
So, maybe this will be some forced rest time before you have sleep deprivation. ;)
Heal well and quickly!

Congrats on the girly! Sorry 'bout the foot.
I broke my foot and.......all I got was this lousy T-Shirt?

Thanks guys....having a cast limits me at work, so i am off through next week. Stuck on the couch. Derek took me shopping for the baby today and we finished up our registry.

Hope everything goes well with the little girl, and your foot and ankle!
As they say in show biz- break a leg!
Sorry, couldn't resist!
But really, I hope the best for you both! Sounds like you have a great man there to get you through!

Best under the cast scratching tool ever - one of those skinny, flexible poles from a cat feather toy.

Geez, my parents were way off on that whole "where to babies come from" thing. I'll be looking at people with casts in a whole new light!
Congrats!

Wow, I broke my tailbone last Fall & all I got was a lousy painkiller addiction. :(

Whew! Please feel better soon & many congrats on the wonderful news, Dineykat! Keep us posted on news about your Disneykitten! :D
