Lerner & Loew's beloved musical about about a magical Scottish village that fell asleep in 1754. Each morning when the village awakens, 100 years have gone by. Two present day New orkers hunging in the Highlands become lost and stumble upon Brigadoon. One of the hunters falls in love with a Scottish lass and must decide whether to forsake his modern life and stay in Brigadoon, or return home and lose his one true love forever. Special appearance by the award-winning Kevin R. Blandford Memorial Pipe Band. Jon Gruett and Kate Butler, producers/directors; Jeffrey H. Rickard, conductor.
This is a free event under the evening stars out in the beautiful city of Redlands.
Would love you to join the Wolfpack for this VERY special event in a VERY special city.
Any questions just PM me!
Hope you can make it!

I played Harry Beaton once in Brigadoon. Was my favorite role ever. Something about being the bad guy....

I've wanted to go to one of these for several years! I'll have to look at the calendar (which I am afraid to open at the moment).
Similarly, would there be any interest in Mountain Play in Mt. Tampais State Park (in Marin county).
Fantastic views and a fun experience. They're doing Wizard of Oz next year.

If I was in the area, I'd love to check out this event. I too played harry beaton and it was one of the best roles I've ever had. I made such a strong connection with in fact that my screen name comes from that role.

Ken and I might be able to make it, unless I have work.
And welcome Speederscout! :D

I saw a B'way revival of this many years ago. Great show. Somehow, every time I think of it now, though, I picture my wife on some kind of incline.

I sang Meg's songs in my high school's production - because the senior cast as Meg couldn't sing. Neither the first one who dropped out of school mid-way through rehearsals nor the replacement. I still love the musical and the film.

Sure hope many of you can come out that day. Great shopping, dining, and entertainment, all in one location. If anyone hasn't visited Redlands, imagine Main Street U.S.A. surrounded by authentic neighborhoods (one of the largest intact historic districts in the country), with equally established cultural events. Come join us for the evening, or the whole afternoon.

Hope many of you can make it out this Saturday. If so let us know; for anyone who can meet earlier in the afternoon we'll shop downtown and plan dinner (either local restaurant or picnic in the park before the play).
Looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Dunno... gotta see as the week goes on. Obviously we're not leaving town, but since Barnum has to be confined most of the day, not sure how much I'm getting out of the house the next couple weeks (gotta be around to take him out to go to the bathroom, etc.) But if I can make it, I will.
