Has anyone been on the 241 Toll Road? Is it fastrack only or can I pay cash to use it?
I have a client that wants to see homes in Anaheim Hills at 6 today, and I can't get out of here before 5:30, so I told her 6:15 and even that's a stretch if I can't find a quick way there...

I take it daily. You can use FastTrack.

That's not what she asked, she was asking if she can pay cash.

THANKS!!! You're a lifesaver. I'm always afraid of hopping on those things because I think some of them are only if you have the fastrack, which I don't, and I only know the 73 has cash booths.

No problem! I do the same thing. There are two toll booths depending where you hop on. Both are about $2.50.
You may want to have exact change though.

I speak from experience as I took the toll roads home the other night. I had a couple of singles and a quarter for the first one but had to use a $20 for the second one.
And FWIW, the 91 freeway does NOT accept cash, but all other toll roads do. And the 91 can get pricy: up to $9.50 (eastbound on a Fridays 4-5 p.m.)

And thank you for the thread. It reminded me to sign up for Fastrack. I've been meaning to do it for several months.

I love FastTrak. Though it is a constant reminder of how much I spend on the toll roads.

It's a terrible expense (91 fasttrack)- but I look at it this way. Or rather I do for my husband since he's the one on it...
While sitting in traffic, would you pay $7 to be home now? If the answer is yes, you should have gotten in the FastTrack. And then they raise it by a quarter and you think, damn, but it's only a quarter. look - there's a quarter on the floor of my car.
And then you see it all added up and wonder just how you can stop paying it. But I work in Perris, and hubby in Garden Grove, so Corona is a good half way point. That and we couldn't afford to live in the same level of housing if we lived in O.C.
