View Full Version : What's going on this Saturday?

Heck if I know - but it's my birthday.

The original plan was to be a shut in. I've noticed that I've been feeling like being a little more secluded, but after thinking about it, it's not what I should do. It's my last year out here, and therefore the last time I get to spend my birthday with some of the best friends I've had in the (almost) 29 years I've been breathing some combination of smog and oxygen.

Another friend was mentioning Oktoberfest at Alpine Village, but I'm not sure if that's what I want to do, even if I'm sure it's fun and Who-Doesn't-Like-Oompa-Oompa? I have work and plans until around 7:30-8:00 that night, but if anyone wants to join me for some low-key drinks and maybe an appetizer or two (location TBD, not BTD, though she's invited, as always) --- or if you have a better idea --- let me know!

I'm gonna be game, whether I like it or not. Anyone else game, even just a little? Plus, any suggestions?

Um, Cemetary Screening. Hannah and Her Sisters, N.A.'s fave Woody. So, I think it will be the final such outting of the season, and that's what I was planning on doing.

We'll bake a cake if you'll join us!

I could use some partying this weekend (this is MY 3 day weekend), but no wheels :(

Sorry, I made plans for the evening already! I thought you were staying in! :(

Wow, I've just taken into consideration what a "responsible adult" I've turned into. This must change. For the last three nights, I was asleep by 10:00.

What is wrong here?

If you turned your phone ON maybe some of us could get through!

*hint hint*. Or just check your PMs. Not to be confused with PMS.

Alpine village? You want to spend a birthday in Alpine Village - okay perhaps being of German heritage I've had my fill of this stuff - but I fear we may need to do an swanktervention or God help us when the Mormons get you.

I was... but... then I smartened up. No big. I still have tentative plans if nothing materializes. ;)

Heyyyy, lady. We are going to a play that night-- but would be more than happy to celebrate with you later-- or earlier, before your shift starts? Or Sunday, if our schedules simply can't align on Saturday?

I was going to watch the PSU Notre Dame game with the OC chapter of the PSU Alumni Assoc., but could be convinced otherwise...

Is this the last weekend of Cemetary screenings then?

Dang it, I've got the play too. And I'm poor. But I wish you the merriest of birthdays and I'm sure fun will be had!

I'm otherwise occupied until 7:30 or so... I'm thinking of dropping by Downtown Disney for drinks, but won't be home until the 7:30ish point to find out if anyone else is able to come. Feel free to call or text me, or just leave a message here - then I'll make my decisions... :)

Next year we will have to plan ahead for you to come up here and go with me to Brews.

I need someone ELSE to be the youngest in the group ;)

We're down for whatever. Definitely won't argue against DtD, but we're willing to drive out your way if you're sitting at home reading this right now and not wanting to get on the road right after getting off work.

OK, so the plan is shaping up to be that I'm going to be in DtD at 8:30ish. I'll be home until around 8 or so, able to check my PMs, etc... Anyone who wants to join me/us is more than welcome. If you need my number, send me a PM, otherwise, just give me a call on my cell.

I'm not going to be able to be out super late or anything... I have to work tomorrow.

Thanks to everyone who was able to make it. I had a lot of fun, even if my arteries are feeling a little more clogged for it. :D
