I'm really hoping this site is not real:

http://www.marryourdaughter.com/

And, here's another site just for us gals. Although, this one's clearly a joke:

Fvckmysonfor$.com has a nice ring to it.

Judging by the over the top white trash testimonials, I'm assuming the first one's a joke. Either that or it's a pedophile sting. Hence I did not see what was behind the "propose" link.

Smacks of a viral site for a movie, or something. They're (cough) doing a lot of that these days. http://www.bulletproofbaby.net/ is one (not ours. Though one of ours will be live later this week.)

The most expensive one (at $79,995) has this description:

Marissa likes to put on airs and thinks she’s better than all of us here and who knows maybe she’s right. She’s looking for a smart, sophisticated man who knows “art” and “culture” and “style” and who can understand her better than we can.

My favorite testimonial on the girls' site is the one about how their daughter never did anything but mope around the house and so they listed her on the site and now they have a jacuzzi.

And on the guys' site I like the guy who's half price now. :) Do the compatibililty test on their site- it's hilarious.

I think you can get better pricing offshore

I propositioned Ariel at Disneyland once, but didn't get an answer.

Perhaps you didn't offer enough clams??

Though, it wouldn't take much with what they pay at Disneyland!

Yeah, but you run the risk of crabs

After all of this being-viral-for-a-living, I guess it takes one to know one, heh. I'm glad that the viral site had a heavier, more political purpose than, say, movie marketing... they did a really great job of publicizing the issue.

I wonder about the serious proposals. That's just weird.
