for anyone in the area tomorrow night, do not be alarmed. The DLR and mutual aid agencies, will be conducting an emergency/disaster DRILL in DCA, after hours. This may be visible to those at the Main Entrance, DTD, Paradise Pier Hotel and the surrounding perimeter streets.

It is only a TEST.

It's a test to see what the park would be like with activity......

Have they studied for this test?

Disneyphile

What if it comes out positive?

And, if it does, how would it affect DCA's reputation?

Would the public shun it, in fear that they may catch whatever it has?

(Um, actually, nevermind that last question. We already know the answer. ;) )

Will there be snacks afterward?

wendybeth

Will it be oral, essay or multiple choice?

(I know a few people on here who are rooting for the oral option...;) ).

So is this really some cryptic euphamism - will there be a pyrotechnic recreation of an emergecy/disaster? Will characters engage in a paniced evacuation parade? Will structures be demolished?

Well, I like riding the ride... I just hate seeing the structure. It's the ugliest thing on the DCA skyline (along with that weird half-tunnel thing on Screamin'. Is it a tunnel or isn't it? Make up your minds, guys!)

Capt Jack

J: Oral

T: What is H2O?

J: Oral

T: Who is the author who wrote "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn"?

Is it a tunnel or isn't it? Make up your minds, guys! It's a noise shield that was unfortunately petitioned by the surrounding hotels. It's designed to direct the sound at scream-prone areas back into the park. It was never part of the original design. :(

I wonder if it is effective with Matt on the ride?

Not at all - and it also doesn't help that the ride makes the most noise at two points AWAY from the "scream shields" - bunch of tards...

bunch of tards...
Which explains most of DCA I suppose.

"This is a test, this is only a test. Had this been an actual theme park, you would have been directed to more fun and E-Ticket rides. This is only a test."

it was all in Hollywood Backlot. not comfortable describing details, but agencies participating included FBI, ATF, Homeland Security, APD, AFD, DLRFD, and others. all over by about 9:30pm.

all vehicles staged backstage to prevent panic and no sirens used.
