Top Gear (http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/266/index.jsp) is on BBC America and is apparently a huge hit in Europe. It's the funnest show I've seen in ages.

BBC AMERICA presents one of the UK's most popular all-time television franchises. Irreverent, witty, and refreshingly honest, the award-winning Top Gear is a motor show like no other.

Featuring super-cars, stunts, time trials, and road tests, each week Top Gear assesses the performance of some of the most desirable cars around. But it is the sharp wit of its presenters, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, that makes Top Gear more than just a motor show.

Led by Jeremy, the Top Gear team takes cars to the limit and beyond to find out if they're as good as their manufacturers claim. Full of stunts, challenges, and special features, Top Gear is exciting, inclusive, and passionate - there are no boring stats and impenetrable conversations about camshafts and tire pressures. Instead, Top Gear accelerates away from the competition with authoritative information, entertainment, and loads of style.

One for the most successful and interesting phenomenons on UK television, Top Gear defies genre. Part factual and part entertainment, the Emmy-winning car show doesn't fit into any standard category. As well as test drives and car trials on location, Top Gear features a live studio audience, star guests, and celebrities driving decidedly non-celebrity cars. Famous names appearing this season include actors Ewan McGregor, Ray Winstone, and Sir Michael Gambon as well as celebrity chefs Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver

My favorites so far have been when the guys go camping and burn down the caravan and soccer with cars. I've missed a few episodes. Hopefully I can catch up in re-runs. Currently new shows are on Monday nights but there have been replays on the weekends.

Absolutely love this show. This guys are just amazing and hilarious. I love the episode where they all made different cars into boats. Guess what?

The guy with the Sailboat convertible won! Their car reviews are just flat out forward and bold.
Also loved seeing the VW R32 stomp a BMW in certain areas of quality.
Great show Katie!

I just ran across the show this week. They were tasked with purchasing a car in Miami for under $1,000 and then drive it across country and resell it for a profit if possible.

It was fun and the show has now earned a vaulted position on my DVR.

I watched one episode. It almost made a show about cars interesting to watch.

From me, since I have zero interest in cars beyond "does it reliably get me from where I am to where I want to be" that is a big compliment.

I have absolutely loved this show for many years now. It combines two of my fave things:

British Humour
Cars

Pure awesomeness is what it is. Just saw the boat episode on a flight back from NY (JetBlue rocks) a couple weeks ago. Classic.
