Cant find my wallet :( :( :(
went out to dinner with a friend last night, some more friends joined us, i had too much to drink so i went home with my sister, who an hour later brought me back to my car. I remember having my wallet at her house, but past that, i cannot say 100% certain.
Im just bummed, ive called EVERYWHERE and nothing, so now i have to go through the process of calling all my banks, cancelling the cards, getting new ones sent out, getting new insurance cards, getting new DISNEYLAND ANNUAL PASSPORTS.. just hope I am thinking of everything I had in the wallet that I would have to take care of...
police are on their way to file a report
Just bummed :( :( :(

Man, I feel for you. I went through that about 7 or 8 years ago and it was a royal pain in the ass. After I had everything changed and/or replaced, the wallet was sent to me in the mail.

Total bummer!
If you take a copy of your police report when you get your new AP they will give you a free replacement. You normally get 1 free replacement a year, but with your report this won't count as it. And call the AP hotline to report your AP missing. They will cancel that pass.

Yeah, total bummer. Bummer being the best word to describe this situation.
I've lost many a thing, and many a thing has been a wallet. One of them even an Anna Sui wallet, which was the only designer anything I've ever owned. That wallet was lovely.
Good luck cancelling and getting new cards, ID's, etc., and dealing with bank stuff. So sorry this happened!

The sheriff was looking through your trash for it? That's interesting. Was the 10 Euro bill still there? ;)
Glad you got it back though! :)

YAY!!!
I've been the unfortunate victim of 3 wallet THEFTS! It's no fun replacing everything. I guess that because I've had it happen so many times to me, that I've started to have levels of what I find acceptable as a part of the stealing of the wallet process.
As long as they don't break my other sh!t, I'm fine with it. The last time, I foolishly thought I was hiding my purse in my car as I ran into the gym. WRONG! Someone took (likely) a screwdriver, chiseled out my lock, ripped out the guts of my brand new Explorer's door, and swiped the purse. Given my past experiences, I was fully prepared to deal with the missing wallet, but the car damage was a new fun time to be had.
One time, I had my wallet stolen while it was right next to me (I don't use purses with open tops anymore, to say the least!) While that was shocking, I wasn't nearly as upset.
After the first time it was stolen (from a locked gym locker) I stopped carrying around large amounts of cash. I know my bank numbers by heart, and stopping the cards has never been a difficult deal. I have copies of my cards, and their backs.
Oh, did I mention that the first and second thefts were less than 2 months apart? Yeah, DMV was a little suspicious...
mhrc, I'm so glad the wallet was found! Did you already do all the bank stuff to get new cards, etc, before he found it??

yup, cancelled ALL the cards, ordered new insurance cards, the whole 9 yards, and unfortunately, all irreversible, but hey, my license wasnt stolen, the 10 euros wasnt stolen, and my APs werent stolen, HOWEVER, we might just use that nifty little police report to get erin her Tinkerbell pass
Nice day Justin. Started on the low and ended on a semi high. Glad you got your wallet back, and hey just think...wothout your credit cards, you won't make any purchases of things you don't need ;)

I lost my wallet in December. I knew it as soon as I did it, but it was too late. Somewhere between the liquor store and Highway 99. It was a pain in the tushie to cancel everything right before Christmas. I made an appointment at the Shafter DMV for the next business day and borrowed the Hubby's atm card. My only problem was at the bank. They didn't want to issue me a new ATM cad without picture ID. After I asked for the branch manager they compared my signature with the signature on file and I received a new card. The credit card companies were easy to deal with. Mine and the LM's APs were in there, but they expired a week later so I didn't have to worry about that. The sad part is it was my Pooh wallet, one they don't make any more. :(

So, just to be clear, it was found in your trash? Because *you* threw it out by mistake?
I need to be clear on this.

LOL, no...
my best assumption as to what happened, when I got home last night, i must have dropped it out of my hand, or missed my pocket when I went to put it away.. so it laid on the ground for the night, or however long. Someone walked by, saw it, went through it for cash, saw none, and dumped it in the dumpster....

What a relief!
I lost my wallet in Canada not once, but twice on the same trip! The first time was in the airport, someone turned it in and they flew to the town I was in on the next flight. The 2nd time was about a week later. It somehow fell out of my purse. That would have been a fun time had by all, trying to get me new photo ID to get back into the states in 4 days. Thankfully we were in a small town, so my grandfather called the radio station DJ and the Mounties. They made a PSA and viola, it appeared infront of the liquor commission. Someone had some fun with my $20USD

sorry, should have clarified, they WILL NOT issue new APs or renewals with the Tink AP at Guest Relations, but since i reported mine stolen, they said they could make an exception and do it, because they know what a collector item it is, and if I had mine stolen, i should get it replaced with the same one..... i just fibbed a little and told them that Erin had a tink one as well :D
