Robot Cannon Kills 9, Wounds 14 (http://blog.wired.com/defense/2007/10/robot-cannon-ki.html)
I for one, do NOT welcome our new machine gun wielding overlords.

This would be a good addition to the fear of the day thread - "Evil Overlord Robot Cannons" or a Fox show called "When Good Robot Cannons Go Bad".

what happened to the robot laws...
rule 1, don't kill a human,
rule 2, don't harm yourself unless it violates law 1
rule 3, do everything your told, unless it violates rule 2 or 1
killing machines are not exactly good ideas.. the human factor is always better than a computer softwear glitch.
Don't see anything new in military arms engaging in unplanned killings. In 1944 a few thousand went on a rampage at Port Chicago and killed more than 300 seamen.
Just a different kind of malfunction.
