Ashley Tisdale is left handed, and rather short.
These are the things you learn as the father of a Teen girl.
Ms. High School Musical herself is on a Mall tour and today's stop was in our area. So with the concert set for 7:00pm, we set out at 4:30 so Headliner could stake her and her friend a primo spot. There were several dozen screamers (my term for teen girls) crowded around the tour bus but no sign of the star. A Black shirt came out of the bus holding a half dozen signed postcards to hand out. A crush ensued. Headliner held her own, and without screaming or clawing (or perhaps because of not screaming) scored one of the postcards.
Next we learned that due to weather forecast, the concert had been cancelled. The only chance to meet Ashley would be at a meet-and-greet in the mall but that was only open to contest winners from a local radio show.
Headliner however is not easily discouraged. On her own she left the crowd of mindless screamers hugging the bus and started talking to the event coordinator who was handing out wrist bands to the contest winners. She sweet talked the guy into giving her and her friends wrist bands for the meet and greet. She got a hug from Ashley, a personalized signed T-Shirt and a photo-op. All without screaming, crying, or similar antics.
Way to live up to your name Headliner.

Is she fan friendly?
Hard to say. When she came out of the bus she waved, signed a couple of autographs (I think, I was a ways back) and declared her love for everyone before getting in her SUV to be driven around the back of the mall. Total appearance time < 2min. but it was raining. Given that her concert was cancelled it would have been nice of her to hang a bit longer with the disappointed screamers but she was off to the pre-planned meet-and-greet.

What's an Ashley Tisdale?
if you don't know, your in a better place...
-trys to get fabulous out of my head!!-
at least the celebrity's currently kind, and your child was lucky...
I took several pictures of Ashley Tisdale at the Monsters, Inc., "blue" carpet event at DCA. They are by far the single most viewed and commented upon photos I have on Flickr.
I still really haven't much of a clue who she is and really wish the 14-year-old girls would stop telling me what an all around perfect person Ms. Tisdale is. It was bad enough living through the NKOTB infatuation of my sisters, I don't need to experience it vicariously through strangers.

She is one of the stars of "High School Musical". If that does not help you, then it's probably best you just move on to another thread taking with you the knowledge that I am actually quite jealous of you.

What a good father Headliner has! Color me impressed that you braved the screaming tweens for her. My husband would sooner die, especially after he went to Raven with us last year!

I've yet to see "High School Musical". I'm almost afraid to.
But, I'm very proud of Headliner for showing great respect and composure. :snap:

Ok, now I'm really impressed! How on earth did you manage to score those?! They sold out in like two seconds around here and everywhere from what I hear.
Thankfully the boy knows I dislike Hannah so he didn't even ask but if Raven comes within 10 states I know he'll be all over it and I would take him. She really was a sweet gal and her dancers were great and friendly. We saw her in two states and ended up at the airport with her and her crew, she was wonderful!

Mix Four PC's, Remote Desktop software, 3 seperate High Speed internet connections, two monitors, and above average typing skills. Repeat as needed. Even with that we were trying for four and only snagged three.

Thank goodness Maddy didn't want Hannah Montana tickets. Swanie was subjected to the High School Musical concert and was underwhelmed.
And is it just me or does Ashley's hair look like really bad fake barbie hair? It makes me nutty.

And the irony is that as a "reward" for being such a great dad I get the pleasure of taking her to the concert. Oh boy.

Yes, but all these kids are "clean". Ie: no crotch grabbing, all the clothes fit well, not tight, no smoking.... you get the gist.

All that stuff happens after filming ;)
Add me to the list of being a 'fan' of the High School Musicals, both the original and 2...the kids are all decently dressed, no big sex scenes...in fact you don't see so much as a kiss til the second one and even that is very 'chaste' ....the music is very fun/has a good beat/you can dance to it ...feeling. Is it going to make you stop and think ..nah, but it's one you can let your tweens and youngers watch without supervision if you want.
Ashley was reported to be kind of a snot at the premiere at DTD by a few folks but WTG Headliner for scoring the wrist bands and autographs!
