On Tuesday morning the news said there was a fire in Woodland Hills. At first they were announcing wind gusts and places so i wasn't sure i heard the word "fire". But as i left for work the sky over in Woodland Hills was smokey and fire clouds. As i got nearer to work it got worse. No one at work knew about this me being the first. As the evening progressed smoke and clouds came over our store.

Nothing on the news and as of this morning at 9am i saw a helicopter with a water bucket but lost it in the smokey clouds at 9am. I can smell smoke from inside and the sky is smokey overhead. Weird that no one would mention anything on the news when there is a fire. Work hasn't called me so i assume they are open. I'll know more possibly when i go to work this afternoon. But the smoke and ash bother me (headaches and my eyes).

Are you sure it is a separate fire in Woodland Hills and not just residual smoke from the Malibu fire?

I couldn't find anything in the news about a fire in WH. Although there are several references to Pierce College (in WH) being used as an animal refuge for victims of the Malibu fire.

A fire was set next to the 101 in WH yesterday. Trees were burning next to the freeway, but I thought they got it put out.
