I know I am a day early but I wanted to make sure I came by to wish each and everyone of you a Happy and Swanky Thanksgiving. I know I have a ton of reasons to be thankful. I hope you do too. Please take a moment to say a special thanks for all of those things you hold dear. I love you guys! :)

Yes- there is alot to be thankful for and my friends here at LoT are certainly one of them-

I am also thankful for-

My health
My family
My home
That my bills are paid and my family is fed
A good job
Surviving another year of stresses
Good friends
...and a bountiful future.

I am thankful...

that Ralph's still makes those brownies I like.

that I wasn't born with 8 limbs.

that John Lassiter has his eye on the park.

that I am still employed as the strike goes on.

that I have been able to keep up with my bills.

that Hairspray is out on DVD.

for my heath.*

that I'm not where it snows this winter.

that I get to see Frodo this Xmas.

and most of all, I am thankful that I have good friends and my family rooting for me.
:)

*Freudian slip, camisole and bustier... :D

I am thankful for being here, alive, now and able to share good times and love with good friends and family. I'm thankful I have the best kitty (okay, so I'm biased) and a 4 day weekend ahead of me.

I'm grateful for a good job, a wonderful home, a car that is running and the AP in my wallet. I've got good health, reasonably so. Mental health, eh?

I'm so thankful for LoT and I do not mean to be sappy about this, but, LoT is a collection of really great people and hanging with you online (or IRL) is just a great refuge among spots to stop on the web. And there is always Disneyland, too!

I'm really thankful for my wife, who is the only person I've ever met as stubborn as me.

I'm thankful for all the wonderful people I've met on the LoT

I'm thankful I work for a company that has made my worklife about as much fun as can be expected of anything called work.

I'm thankful I don't own any high powered firearms, and my improvised explosives were safely destroyed years ago.

I'm thankful that my brain still resides inside my head, even if my mind is long gone.

That was such an awesome cartoon, Snowflake! Almost like me except I am legally blind and can see some. SOME is the key word there.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

I'm thankful for:

A partner that loves me no matter how grumpy I might get sometimes.

A group of wonderfully creative friends to inspire me and make life more special.

A talented group of musicians that always inspire and amaze me, and who I am also proud to call my friends.

A job that allows me to write.

I hope each and every one of you has a most special day.

I don't like Thanksgiving dinner.Really? What is it, the food, the company, or all the commotion and bustle? Just curious...

I had a pretty good one. I overcooked the turkey a little, but I use a plastic cooking bag and let it rest before carving then put basting juices over it so it wasn't too dry. I also forgot to put sugar in the pumpkin pies! But the hot apple pie a la mode with caramel sauce was my savior.

All in all it was great!

Now I'm starting to do my Christmas display, I have quite the plans this year. Perhaps I'll have to figure out how to post a video on YouTube! ;)

The chocolate pecan pie with caramel sauce was a winner. I have a smidgen of leftovers. Too bad there's no one here to share them with...
