I had no idea, I've always wanted to see this place. Hurrell and Calrence Sinclair Bull took many great shots of Novarro in the house with the fabulous furniture, too. Here's how it looks today (http://www.flickr.com/photos/srk1941/sets/72157594483309773/show/), I'd still love to find it and visit.

Just give me an address...

it's either
2255 Valley Oak Drive
or
5609 Valley Oak Drive
based on this (http://cityplanning.lacity.org/complan/HCM/dsp_hcm_result.cfm?community=Hollywood)

From this article (http://www.altfg.com/blog/actors/ramon-novarro-lloyd-wright-home/), it says it was designed by Lloyd Wright (Frank Lloyd Wright's son)

In doing some digging, the consensus I found is that 5609 is the correct addy.

Wrong attribution. It was designed by Lloyd Wright (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lloyd_Wright), son of Frank Lloyd Wright. Lloyd actually designed far more houses in Southern California than his more famous father. FLW only built seven houses in the LA area - Lloyd built about 20. His buildings are routinely mis-attributed as the work of his father.

Lloyd Wright was the architect of the glass church in Palos Verdes as well.

I'll never be able to buy that house if my bridge game doesn't improve.

One of the links I posted was from 2006, so it may not be available anymore.
