Peel off some pleasure.

Orange twist for garnish
Combine rum and liqueurs in mixing glass. Add ice and stir to chill. Strain into your Swank Martini glass and garnish.

A friend just emailed this one to me, and I had to share.

I like mixing Whaler's Rum (from Trader Joe's) into Coke. Specifically that rum.

Does that count?

For the holidays I like Sprite spiked with a bit of peppermint extract. I originally tried using candy canes but that gave a reaction similar to Diet coke and mentos.

I'm currently experimenting with Tang - I may have some spacey concoctions to share come the new year.

Rob's Eggnog.

1 cup ready made custard (this gives the egg componant)
1 cup cream
1 cup Creme De Cacao
1 cup Brandy
Sprinkle of Nutmeg

Mix all together and drink slowly for a festive glow.

(Rant coming on...) .....and what's with all these "Martini" drinks??? Call them a "boston cream pie" or a "Chocolate covered orange" but I can't understand why bartenders add the "Martini" moniker to these tortally unrelated drinks, simply because they're served in a "Martini Glass" ?!?!?!?! (rant over.)

There are only 2 ways to make a martini. One is with Gin and the other is with Vodka. Both have vermouth and olives. Period.

"Martini" seems to be the new word for "cocktail" - but I agree with the sentiments above
