The Chicago Museum of Science and Industry had a great exhibit about eyes where you could take a photo of your eye and it would show up on a screen in front of you. Not at this resolution, but nifty none the less.

Whoa. If you stare at some of them long enough the pupils almost seem to grow or shrink. A psychological illusion maybe?

("Optical" illusion. Hehe.)

And the photos made for a great new avatar.

I made an animated GIF of several of the photos, but the file was too large to use as an avatar.

Any, why are none of the eyes brown? Are we just too boring to include?

I believe several of them are brown, it's the scale, resolution, and lighting conditions that bring out the large variation in color that actually makes up a brown eye.
