Just curious is anyone knows the answer to "Is it ok to take a drawing pad to the park and sketch things?"
Yeah, I've not drawn or written much for a while and had an itch to get back to doing more. I was thinking since NYE will be packed that I might find a bench or two and do some sketching.
Just wondering if they'd throw me out for some stupid "Homeland security" reason.

They allow cameras, can't see what issue they might have with a sketch pad

I think this has been discussed elsewhere and the general answer what that yes, it's fine. As long as you are not, for example, drawing detailed pictures of the Matterhorn breaking system or specific guests (ie for $$)

I have drawn at the park before.
Unless you require some huge set up for it, it seems to me the worst case scenario is that you do it, security tells you not to (though I doubt it would actually happen) and you say "ok" and put your stuff away.

Sounds reasonable. I know I won't be setting up my oils and canvas, probably just a simple 8/11 pad and some pencils.

You can draw, but only in the animation building.

Kevy's just hurt because I turned him down. He wanted me to draw him like the chick in Titanic - Nude on a bench.

Pfffft but I meant it in an endearing, "we love kevy" sort of way! I, on the other hand, am never obnoxious.
