NA posted (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?p=185194&#post185194) about a fruit and veggie delivery service. We had talked before about the demise of Home Grocer, aka WebVan, and the other Web 1.0 delivery companies.
And today, I saw this:
http://www.amazon.com/subscribeandsave
From the details (http://www.amazon.com/gp/subscribe-and-save/details/index.html?):
When you order through our Subscribe & Save program, you'll:
• automatically receive a new shipment of the item in intervals you select--every one, two, three, or six months
• get a discount on our everyday price
• get free shipping on every Subscribe & Save shipment
• pay for each order only when the item is shipped
• have the option to cancel at any time
The catch is that they sell in bulk - 4 boxes of cereal at once, 4 bottles of detergent, etc. I could see myself using it for very specific items, maybe....though if I had a family of four it might be a better option.
Any other delivery sites out there that caught your eye lately?
