Today, Apple introduced the MacBook Air (http://www.macworld.com/article/131583/2008/01/macbookair.html). Even though it includes a 13.3-inch LED-backlit widescreen display that has a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution, full sized backlit keyboard, Intel Core 2 Duo running at 1.6GHz, etc. this thing:
Is only 3/4" thick at the fattest point (actually going to .016" at the thinnest)
Weighs only 3 f-in pounds!Holy crap!!!
While the standard HD is an 80 MB Parallel ATA, there is also an option for a 64 GB solid-state disk drive. That's right kiddies - a 64 GB FLASH DRIVE!
And of course, it is beautiful:

In further news, updates to the iPhone (http://www.macworld.com/article/131581/2008/01/iphoneupdate.html) (free) and iPod Touch (http://www.macworld.com/article/131584/2008/01/touchupdate.html) ($20).
They have re-configured the Apple TV (http://www.macworld.com/article/131582/2008/01/appletv.html) and brought the price down. They also introduced (to no-ones surprise) iTunes Movie Rentals (http://www.macworld.com/article/131582/2008/01/appletv.html). I am not that interested in this as even though it supports HD downloads, these downloads are only 720p. Wake me when you get to 1080p
