Amy Winehouse is in rehab. Reading between the lines, Universal (her label) had a lot to do with it. Wonder how well that's going to work...

about damn time.
not a fan, but good luck to her.
If Universal had a lot to do with it then I don't imagine it will do much for her unless she can't check whenever she wants.

Universal said it hoped Winehouse would “come back to full health and fulfill her incredible potential with the label.”
Isn't this sweet?

Well, I'm glad something is being done. Whether it will "stick" or not, who knows. She's an incredible performer and singer. I would hate to see her talent go to waste, but that's what happens.

If she is being forced into the rehab, wouldn't the chances of success be greatly diminished?

Certainly, but remain significantly higher than with no help at all.

Sometimes an addict hears something in rehab or a meeting and a light goes on. Sometimes it doesn't happen. But, it's worth a try and it's better than the alternative.

I'm not surprised after a video of her smoking a crack pipe popped up online last week.
I doubt she'll stay clean for long but who knows.
