Another Disney Typo....

Hey, did you know that two in 1959 Walt's father was born? Thats 58 years AFTER Walt was born, and the year I was born. This is from the Inside Disney newsletter:

THIS WEEK IN DISNEY HISTORY
February 5, 1953 - Disney's 14th animated film, "Peter Pan" (based on James M. Barrie's 1904 story), opens at the Roxy Theatre in New York City.

February 5, 1992 - Disney's "Beauty and the Beast" is nominated for 6 Academy Awards(R), including Best Picture.

February 6, 1959 - Elias Disney (the future father of Walt Disney) is born to Kepple Disney II and Mary Richardson in Bluevale, Ontario, Canada.

I stumped a co - worker with that yesterday morning.
I read it, did mental math and had to go back and read it again.

I guess the person that should have typed 1859 couldnt handle the 18 part. :blush:

I'm just amused by the fact that the post where you report someone else's typo has a typo in it:

Yes, he was born in 1859, he was in his 40s when Walt was born.

His mom would have been a sprightly 140 years old come this April.

Wow, what was I thinking?? I'm not even sure what I was trying to type! That word "Two" shouldn't be there at all. Lisa wasn't even in the room ;) .
