There are four or five shows that interest me.
NA: H & I saw Gilberto Gil last year. I would have loved to see him any time between 1967 and 1974. I can't say I regret going to the show, but...

Damn, me too. I am, in fact, using one of the movements for a short film I'm currently working on.

Wow besides Eric Idle and Julie Andrews (July 17, Disneyland. July 18, Julie Andrews :P) this season is sort of meh as a whole! But there are fun events -- I'll look at this again when it isn't 6:30am and I'm rushing to court :)

From the sound of it, if we got one set of season tickets we could spread them out.
I need to look into Les Miz in Concert and John Williams - both in August.

Ooh... which movement?
The working title of the film is "Bringer of War," so I imagine you can guess.
It's about an evil cupcake.
No, really.

Are they doing build-your-own subscriptions again? I can't find it on the website.

Might be a bit early, I mean, they barely got the schedule up yet. But build-your-own is my secret to scoring cheap seats :)
The John Williams thing is.... well, I'm probably spoiled by more interesting conductors. He just comes out and starts waving his arms. But if you've never heard his music in concert it's probably worth doing once. Doesn't excite me any more though.
I would like to see Julie, and whatever the opening night gala is (always amazing, I don't even need to know who it will be), Les Miz in concert gets a HELL YEAH from me, Eric Idle is a yes for me, I think I'd like the Warner Bros. night (Harry Potter!), and I could see tossing in a jazz night at some point just because. Ooh, wait a sec, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, rock on :)

Okay, they're saying "Encore" will be available in April. If I recall, that's the name of the build-your-series program.
