It certainly is a vanity fair when Hollywood gets its mugs on their annual spread of this particular magazine. And I shamefully admit that I look forward to it every year.
This issue has a particularly fun spread placing contemporary actors in famous scenes from Hitchcock movies. And though I do turn my nose up at some of these (sorry, Renee Zellweger, with all those accents over your 'e's, but you're no Kim Novak), while others delighted (Strangers on a Train, for example).
When I was flipping through the issue at the Arclight the other night, I thought of Le Hedoniste and his lovely wife, who both enjoy the French actress Marioin Cotillard. Or, well, I believe I remember them telling me as much after seeing A Very Long Engagement. She was, in my opinion, the best thing about that film. Anyhoo, she's a vision.

I'm significantly turned on by the Strangers on a Train photo.

Um, there was a thread on this last week.
But thanks for the reminder to buy the issue.

Sorry for the double-posting, but I don't always have time to read every thread to make sure something that interests me hasn't already been the topic of a thread. Oh, well.

That's cool! But if someone does want to merge the threads and so on, please feel free. I was mostly using this as an excuse to brighten up C and L's day with a little bit o' naked French hottie. What, by the way, was your favorite of the series?

Sigh - this is just the sort of thing to pick up at Union Station as I rush to catch a train...

But I love the Charlize Dial M for Murder!

From this (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?t=7448&highlight=Marie+Saint) thread:
I especially like the more unusual ones ... Marian Cotillard's triptich of Psycho, and the recreation of filming Lifeboat rather than an actual image from Lifeboat. These were nice touches that broke up the otherwise literal translations.
Though all the others, the straight(er) reproductions, were likewise fantastic.

RZ did nothing for me at all.
I loved, loved, loved Jodie Foster from The Birds.
I'm also with Cherney, Strangers on a Train is sheer hotness.
And I loved Eva Marie Saint in Lifeboat.
I slobber waiting for the annual Hollywood issue......EH1812, no worries, it's always worth waiting for as far as I'm concerned.

Hey that's my line! Now I'm going to have to find something erotic to say about Hugh Grant

Not sure. But I will say that I wouldn't mind being stranded on that lifeboat, I tell you what.
