Well, the LashPair might be incommunicado for a while, as we've had a gutful of Vista and are snotting it from my box and installing XP.

I don't know how long it will take to find drivers etc, as the stupid bloody laptop came with everything pre-loaded and no discs. What a good way for MicroShaft to recruit Beta testers.

Wish us luck, and we may be online for a skype later this evening. *fingers crossed*

I haven't had one problem with it either.

FYI, after getting a new pre-loaded computer, you are suppose to burn recovery discs which makes copies of your new prestine OS as well as your driver configuration. You should do this before adding anything or going online.

I know it's too late now.

Sorry about the difficulty you are experiencing, and good luck.

This is why I usually wait a few years before upgrading my windows OS.

Other than performance issues (which may or may not be resolved by SP1 next month), I rather like Vista.

I would have preferred Microsoft to have waited to release an OS till they had SP1 ready...

I have a vista disc... just never put it on my lappy cause i like XP.
