While all of you were out frolicking in the MA, the WDC announced that Iger has been selected to be Eisner's sockpuppet.

The smartest thing Iger could do would be to wipe the brown stain off his nose, distance himself from Eisner, and enter into negotiations with Pixar.

Of course, he won't.

Gee, I wonder who will take over as chariman when Mitchell steps down?

Sad news, but we knew it was most likely coming.

I doubt that Iger has the chutzpah that Eisner does and won't be able to grip the reigns of power as tightly as Eisner did. I bet he's out in a year.

But the news still sucks though.

Eh. At this point I've lost all hope. Oh well. It was a great company for a while. Hopefully things won't go completely down the drain with the parks.

It is pretty amazing, isn't it? It's unreal how corrupt they are, and how entitled. I'm reading 'Disneywar' now, and it's so weird to see the events of the past few years played out in this book. Stewart really did a fantastic job of exposing Eisner and his board, not that it seems to have done any good.

Well, it may bring you all a little comfort to know that Robert I-gor is in Heaven now, jamming on guitar with Michael Eisner.

Tref! Too funny. If only!

Erica told us the news right after playing MA. I'm not sure I have any other feelings other than NOOOOOOOOO. But, most of my feeling is concentrated on my lower body.

Okay, can everyone now admint how completely impotent Save Disney was? I've been saying it for months, but Roy did nothing but pay lip service since the vote of no confidence. At every major milestone, at every possible opening to present an alternative, he did nothing but put out a whiny press release. And this is the result. Sorry Roy, you seem to have failed. No more vague talk about "waiting for the right moment," the moment has passed, and we're stuck with Eisner II, Electric Boogaloo. Good job, Roy.

Well, I suppose one way to make yourself look good in retrospect is to make sure the next guy will be even worse. Thus Eisner protects his legacy
