This was the show that Bill Nye the science guy got his start in.

Was semi edgy Seattle based comedy sketch show...

One of the regular sketches was mind your manners with Billy Quan

Anyone remember

High Fivin' White Guys! Ballard Driving School! Sluggy! The John Report! Cops in Kent!

Ahhhh...

The fact that it is no longer on the air is LAME! Inexcuseable LAME!

OMG! I have a faint, distant memory of Almost Live! WEIRD!!! Probably when I was in high school? Can someone give me dates? The speedwalker thing sounds familiar and I always THOUGHT Bill Nye looked and sounded familiar before the Science gig!!!!

Bill Nye called me a freak during some filming at Six Flags several years ago...

Almost Live should be on somewhere in syndication or somethin'

It was on-air between 1984 and 1999, Claire.

Weird. Those are the exact years I was in high school. ;)

Lol, Claire! No wonder you like a show called 'Arrested Development'! The early years were the best- it started to really sort of suck after the first five or so years.

Kind of like high school.;):p

Oh my goodness! Was anyone in broadcast range of the Almost Live reunion show tonight? We taped it because I was in class and just finished watching it. It was rolling on the ground, laughing so hard we both started coughing, cat staring us like we've gone insane, please dear Lord don't let me wet myself funny.

Damn I miss that show. Even Bill Nye and Joel McHale came back for the reunion.
