Well for me my tour ended here (Brett Michael's Rock of Love saying) but as Chris Daughtry sings "be careful what you wish for, you just might get it all" comes to mind as i guess in some ways Vegas ended the tour for me on a much needed higher note than ever thought possible.
Day of the show get to MGM around 5:45pm and first fan i meet is Ashley from the boards from Nashville i talk to her for a few minutes and hubby stays in line while i go in and get merchandise he is kind enough to take back to the room so i don't have to worry about it at the show...
So i get done get back and they're getting ready to start check in fan club when Jon's brother Matt who runs the fan club is there giving final instructions to the staff...i want to approach him but am very nervous and unsure about it. I had a thank you note for him as well as Jon. (I wouldn't trust anyone other than him to get anything to Jon) and i was really hesitant to.
However i ended up saying thank you to him and asked him to pass something on for me and he was so very kind and nice. Then i went checked in and got my ticket for the night. Meanwhile hubby was talking to Matt.
So i go over and CM wants to get a picture of me and Matt so he takes our picture...then i say thank you again to Matt and let him know i was in the fateful group Anaheim night 1 Richie's side and what i heard saw...which was cool. He told me to post on the board how happy i am with the tickets and packages etc i told him i do post so that was cool...anyways he had to conduct the backstage VIP tour so he had to go...
After he left i felt at ease so wondering where my seat was (we were guaranteed rows 15-25) with ticket only so i take a deep breath and reach into the envelope. I see Floor B (center section i nearly scream) row R which is last row 18th row but i don't care. Seat 16 end seat between Jon and Richie. Others i know ended up in Floor D, E and F second sections off the floor so i got one of the closer seats but seeing how i was 1 ticket only i think that did help....
So when i went inside i loved my seat...yes i'm spoiled by being closer but the rows seemed to slope up a little or appeared to be to me...the only thing that bothered me were people around me were either standing and not dancing singing or else sitting down for most of the show...
So to make up for their lack luster energy (yes Jon did notice) that's why i bounced, danced and sang and he took notice to me...i was in my glory he noticed me from way back at row 18. What was funny is i had a sign for him saying "Jon I'll Be Your Jackpot". I held it up throughout the show and he noticed it...lmao a few times i took video he would come over right in front of me and sing one time pointing at me. :) Was awesome
During Bad Medicine i had a sign for Richie (his famous sign from last tour) since i was in side stage two shows prior i decided now is the time to do this..so i hold it up and Richie sees it he smiles at me....but then Jon gives me this look like hey where's my sign kinda deal...lol so i flipflop the sign back and forth it was rather funny lmao...
I love my camera when it works....lmao when i'm patient enough and not jumping around to actually let it focus and it gets some amazing pictures...During Richie's solo "I'll Be There For You" tons of fans sat down in my area giving me an awesome view. I've seen heard him do this live twice and tonight was just beyond anything. My mouth was literally on the floor. I had to pick it up i was just amazed blown away...during the "Whoa whoa whoa's" i was swaying my fan club card in the air back and forth and he saw me :)
During Make A Memory when Jon was out on the platform even from my seat he at one point was singing right at me the camera i was filming it and went ballistic...lol
Well i ended up sicker than sick and back home now...all i can say is this tour really was for me more than i could imagine every single show, every single Jon moment, Richie moment. My side stage experiences with Jon...all of it...
I never had a tour or been to shows like the ones on this tour...totally more than i could ever dream or wish or want...
Teresa i will i'm just needing to add the Vegas pictures of Jon will do that in a moment and then make an album and then send you the link...
