A spiritual revival for some
A national news story for others
A bunch of blocked streets and traffic nightmares for me.

Bleah!

We've determined that bears are Catholic, so now I just need to know if the pope poops in the woods. I wonder if they'll answer a politely worded email.

You met a surprisingly handsome and suave wolf?

(Jeez! I hate it when I get Sondheim stuck in my head!)

Look at that flesh, pink and plump..

Yep, that'd be me.

...now back to the (hardie) Pope.

...do you guys have Hardie Pope (http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=86962145)?

Could be worse, Lashie. At least *everybody* knows the wolf has a splendid package ;)

Well, it's not a fez.

Well, perhaps, if the hat were a little taller.

The LoT Pope hasn't made an appearance in a while. Must be all that "Wholy Water."

I can't think of the Pope without thinking of that Pope buttplug (it was the pope's head and hat) we bought as a gag gift for my friend's roommate as a freshman in college (we couldn't stand the guy). He didn't know what it was, of course, and was rumored to have given it to a girl he liked. Eeeeesh.

I also can't think of the current Pope without saying "Nazi Pope, Nazi Pope" to the tune of the Spiderman theme, but that's a whole other story :p

Well, it's not a fez.

I think an update of couture would help heaps. A fez would be so attractive, but then they may be confused with the various local tents of the Sons of the Desert.

All I can think of is some comedian who mentioned RoboPope.

Is there still really a bubbled pope-mobile? Does it look like the batcar?

I thought it was a myth, like the Easter Bunny or Cher.

Pope-Mobile!

This picture is less than 2 years old and Mr. 16th is the occupant so I guess he still does have it.

It looks like if they put hydraulics on the room they could convert it to a hearse.

That looks like a fairly recent model.

A quick look on Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Popemobile) tells me that there have been several Popemobiles.
