What's the last item of clothing you bought? My last purchase was pretty boring - a couple of black tops for work (on the argument that you can never have too many black tops for work;) )
I currently have my eye on a really cool pair of boots - kind of cowboyish, without being over the top. They're $289 though, so I have to think about it carefully...

Lets see...within the past week I bought:
A white Michael Kors purse
A bunch of T-shirts (you can never have too many T's, right?) & two pairs of Jeans from Target
A pair of overalls (SUHwanky, I know! They're for my mission trip)
A new VS bra
And that's just the fashion stuff....I think it's time for my Amex card to go in the freezer!
I LOVE the Michael Kors purse....I've been lusting after it for a few months now, and finally broke down and got it.

I finally broke down and bought a nice smei-dressy skirt set. I have finally come to grips with the fact that I will never be built the same as before I had The (10 lb) Boy. I needed at least 1 nice outfit in case I ever go somewhere and need a nice outfit.

I went crazy on Wednesday. I originally went looking for a formal too!
A pink with small white pokka dots dress
A cream colored shrug to go with the dress
A pair of Bongo purple wedge shoes and black loafers with a small heel from Etienne Aigner
The actual formal - Lime green halter top with a white stripped skirt. It's sort of a 50's 60's thing since the event is themed as such. It's TOO cute!
Oh, and I never wear dresses. How funny is that?

I'm digging up this thread again because I've just been shopping:D
My purchases:
A new layered T for wearing with jeans at the weekend. cute, but not too exciting.
Light tweedy blazer, with cool slightly frayed edges - this is cute. I'm mainly going to wear it with jeans and Ts underneath, along with some cool earrings. Yay!

I just got back from the "big" mall - BellSquare has a plus-size Talbot's. That has petites. 1 pair denim shorts, 1 pair cropped denim pants, one blue sweater set (tank that doesn't show off my bra!), and one periwinkle linen shirt with cool square buttons set on the diamond. (Plus some Prescriptives make-up from Nordy's. I've become my mother.)

Bras on sale. So many colors....
And when I find shorts that fit -- buy one in each color.
But most important -- the free Seattle U School of Law sweatshirt I won by filling out a survey. Because one of the top 10 textures on earth is the smooth-yet-fuzzy inside of a new sweatshirt.

I have been on a shopping spree. Damn vacation. Provides the perfect excuse. All told the past few weeks I've purchased two pair of cropped pants, three pair shorts, one sweater set, one beautiful but ridiculously expensive linen shirt, canvas shoes, sandals, four t-shirts in every shade of blue imaginable. Just yesterday I got my lastest shipment -- three tank tops (mango, mint green, and peony pink) and a kiwi green windbreaker with zip-off hood. Unfortunately, someone zipped off the hood before packaging it. Fortunately, customer service was very nice, open 24 hours, and shipping out a new one express witha pre-paid envelope to return the other. Any more it's worth paying extra to know you'll get customer service when you need it.

If you only knew how long I have put off posting to this Thread, for fear of..putting people off. :( I'm kinda sorta a humongo shopaholic.
So, I'll post only the shoes I've added to my wardrobe in the last few months! I'm not sure I'll even remember them all! ( Dreamy sigh..I love shoes! :) )
~Shoes~
*Jimmy Choo Silver Medina Moroccan ballet flats
New for Spring! I had been waiting forever for their debut! Yay!
*Manolo Blahnik silk floral stillettos with jewel encrusted clasp
I kinda admit I wore these with my jammies the other night. Really. If only for 5 minutes!
*Michael Kors platform espradrille slides with black nubuck leather criss-cross straps
These are just so fun! They called out to me. And I obeyed.
*Marc Jacob chocolate suede flip flops with berry floral instep
These screamed at me like a banshee. So I adopted them.
*Coach charcoal satin & black leather logo tennies
Because I needed new tennies! Well, kinda. Maybe not. But they needed me!
*Bebe white leather stillettos with silver studs and pink & blue crystal heart floral applique
I can barely balance in these, but that's okay! Because they have pink sparklies.
*Steven black leather stillettos with black center stone, tiny black crystals, and tiny midnight blue beads that dangle all across the ankle chain strap
Okay! I admit I wore these with my jammies too! Five minutes top!
*Three pairs of satin ballet espradrilles with satin ankle ribbon ties in cherry blossom, pool, & lipstick red
I love ballet flats! Especially with satin ribbons. It's so ballerina, which of course I wanted to be as a little girl.
*Gap spearmint coloured suede ballet flats with little matching suede blossom on top!
So Springy!
*Gap fuschia suede moccasins with chocolate leather & gold sequined detail
So fun!
*Pink floral canvas strappy platform espradrilles
So pink!
I think that's it! I actually have an icky knot in my stomach posting my weakness. I never, ever share my purchases. :(
I'm hanging my head in shame..which allows me a better view of my shoes, actually! ;)

Two? That doesn't sound very obsessed to me (unless they are both the same cut and color). A blazer can change a "casual Friday" outfit into an "any day of the week" outfit. And they're great in the Air Conditioning in the summer.
Currently I'm "between sizes" on almost all my blazers and it's driving me crazy (but at least I'm going the right direction!)

I really need to find a good blazer. Actually, two would be nice. I know that I'm probably not going to be in serious need for another year, as I'll be going to school full-time for probably another 2 years, but I think picking up one right now for that casual, but dressy look for random occasions would be a good thing.

Well, I just purchased two pairs of (boring) khaki pants today.
There is one designer of pants that I've found fits me virtually all of the time, and it's a blue moon when a different designer does, so unless I'm ultra desperate, I only try on Claiborne-family pants. So I go to Macy's (the only chain in this part of the world that carries them, I think) and they have like 5 khaki Elisabeth pants in the Women's section, and 3 of them have that dreaded P at the end of them. Of course, the other two weren't my size. So they look up to see if they can find them at any of the other local stores. NO. NO KAHKI PANTS IN MY SIZE IN ANY MACY'S IN THE STATE OF LOUISIANA! It's blasted hot May (almost June) and my old khaki’s are too big (which is a good thing, but...).
So as I'm fuming off, I remember I wanted to look at the "good" earrings (which were on sale 50%) and then I remembered I was now wearing the "crossover" size between departments, so I went to the Misses section and they HAD ones that should fit, and they did! So I also got a different style pair off the clearance rack! The only down side is the cotton twill ones are triple pleated, and I really wanted flat-front. Hey, they fit and are the size I want, I can't actually expect to find the STYLE I want too, can I?
(Oh, and I got some nice "knot" earrings to wear every day for what'll end up being 2/3 off - dang, remind me not to look at jewelry in the department stores unless it's on super-duper sale, they've got to have some huge markups on regular price!)
