Even as a kid I wasn't particularly interested in those shows, though I did watch my fair share of crap.

Pufnstuf is sheer 1970s perfection - psychedelic puppets, Jack Wild, Billie Hayes, and great original songs.

Sadly, each successive Krofft show had a proprtional drop in quality until their Saturday Morning swan song Bigfoot and Wildboy.

They did, briefly, have an indoor theme in Atlanta in what is now the CNN building.

As far as personal anecdotes go, EuroChris and I received a stern lecture from an indignant Charles Nelson Reilly, who was the star of Lidsville.

And I have history with Kroffts, but that's a whole other story...

Oh, and Heidi has met and partied with Billie Hayes, placing her firmly within the Krofft Encounters group.

I've just got to hear how you earned a drubbing from Charles Nelson Reilly.

Of these various shows, Lidsville was, for whatever reason, the one that I connected with, though I also watched H.R. Puf'N'stuf regularly. By the time Sigmund came on the air, I was at the "mock it cruelly" stage where nearly all Saturday morning entertainment was concerned. (Mind you, I still watched it, I just felt awfully superior to it. I was probably a miserable little snot at times.)

Are you going to intersperse these Krofft-y delights with vintage toy and cereal commercials? (There are video collections out there, and plenty to be found on YouTube and other online sources.)
