If you are staying in a hotel next to a professional sports arena remember to close your shades before you decide to "get it on'.

Unless of course you are an exhibitionist. In which case ignore what I just wrote.

And yes, I (and a least a few dozen fans, maybe hundreds more) witnessed a couple who did not heed this advice while I was working at Safeco Field today. :D

Oh My! We, the boy and I, have had that kind of experience when he was little. Now when we stay in downtown Portland I pull the shades, so little eyes don't get more than they need, although he is older now. It was just a little uncomfortable explaining what we saw!!

Odds are they knew what they were doing, though whether they were certain people were watching is a different issue (a lot more people seem to like having sex when people might be watching than having sex when they know people are watching).

Back before DCA opened wasn't there a pseudo-pool betting on how long it would be before some couple in the Grand California decided to put on a show DCA visitors? I'm sure those balconies have seen many surreptitious liaisons over the years.

And if you think having sex in a hotel room while people can see from the ballpark is bad, there was a video floating around a few years ago of a couple having sex (hiked skirt sitting on lap; no naughty bits visible) in the stands at the baseball game.

The one we witnessed was on the roof of a neighboring hotel in the hot tub. I'm sure they knew the whole world could see!

God, I know what you mean. My old neighbours were constantly getting it on in plain view. All one had to do was wiggle under their fence, climb the pecan tree near the back of their house and lean out a bit to see right into the bedroom window. Shameful I tell, you shameful.

With all the pitching changes these days, I can see how a man could get bored, but I do hope that was between innings.

I found the whole thing to be hilarious. I see this guy just start to laugh and I ask him what it was and he told me. Sure enough there they were. I noticed several other fans stopping and seeing it. They probably did it on purpose, yet maybe not. Either way it gives me a good story.

So, were they any good?

Oh man this reminds me of like 4 years ago during gay days when I was staying at the DL Hojos and walked outside on the balcony above the pool to smoke a cigarette wearing ... err...... the cigarette...
