I've noticed from the general banter around here that we're a fairly brainy bunch as a whole...
Should we set up our own chapter of MENSA or not ? :D
Not.
Having been to Mensa meetings I can say there is little to recommend them.

I've never liked the name of that organization- it sounds like a company that sells women's personal products.
We can start our own cliq......I mean , group. We'd have to have a really kewl name, though.

There was a bar downtown called Mensa, but it failed - after it was renamed from Ego, which also failed.
Perhaps there's a lesson in that?

Well, I have a good time at Mensa gatherings, but frankly, this board is already like a Mensa gathering.

Actually, they are quite fond of beer. http://www.ocmensa.org/ (See the Calendar for how many events involve or mention libations)

I must confess that I do not know who the woman in Helen's avatar is, though I make a WAG that it is Doris Day.

(However... this is proof that Kevy, in fact, is not gay!)
