I like the color test screen. Reminds me of the TV of old. And you get a flavor of the quality with the stars. Looks interesting.

Looks like the website hasn't been updated since 2003. Are those really recent photos?
According to Archive.org (http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.miragewaterworks.com/peacock/index.htm) those pictures were first put on that site around December 8, 2002. The two Tempe Arizona pictures were added to the page a year later.
I don't think they have anything to do with World of Color.

Those pics remind me ... I think this show is going to be a huge fail. I don't think there are any performers, and I hope I'm wrong about that.
Picture Fantasmic with the mist screens, and the dragon-head-on-a-stick, but no performers. Ghost Ship Columbia and no hankie-dancing on the Mark Twain.
I know the creatives were pushing and pushing for a staging area that would allow for performers, but that would have required closing the lower level of the old Wolfgang Puck (now Ariel's / Cove Bar) facility.
Obviously, that is not being done ... and I don't believe they ever solved the problem of how to get performers out onto the Lagoon.
With no live performers, the show will be a dud ... no matter what level of technical artistry they achieve.

Unless they do something like BraviSEAmo! Brought tears to my eyes, it did.
