JACKSON, Miss. — Oscar-winning actor Morgan Freeman is in a hospital in Memphis, Tenn., today after being injured in a car accident in Mississippi.

Regional Medical Center spokeswoman Kathy Stringer said Freeman, 71, is in serious condition. The hospital is about 90 miles north of the accident scene in rural Tallahatchie County in the Mississippi Delta.

I do belive those are age spots of some sort (hyper pigmintation). I consider them to be as much his personality as the mole on Robert De Niro's face, and the gap in David Letterman's teeth.

FYI he's doing fine now, but will have some surgery to repair some shoulder damage. He also has a broken arm and elbow. BBC News article (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/entertainment/7542208.stm)
