I loved Ratatouille and "Your Friend, The Rat" but this (http://www.laweekly.com/news/features/palisades-rathouse-unchallenged-by-health-officials-elderly-twins-fed-local-vermin-population/19342/?page=all) is just disgusting.

Yeah, I read all about it in last week's Weekly. Really creepy story of modern-day Willards. Even better with creepy Twin Senior Sisters. I want the movie version!!

City did nothing, health inspectors did nothing, politicians did nothing. Good Old Fashioned Law Suit solves all.

I love my profession.

That's so creepy - the art next to the article really paints a weird picture of it all. And what's with the total ineptitude of the city? My lawn gets a few brown spots and they're all up in my business about it...

Funny, we just saw the Pixar Play Parade, and the Ratatouille float just seemed a bit gross. Rats in everything...

We'll follow you to Mars
Or wherever you people go...

We rats are right there down below.

We’ve travelled near and far,
With swamis, geisha, thugs and czars
In planes and boats and submarines,
We’ve sailed from Liverpool to Queens.
We’re even in Qatar, or wherever you people go...
We all adore François Truffaut.

and so on...

It's artsy and creepy and makes me want to shake the rats off them and run.

Totally. Or it could also be the centerpiece of a Knott's Scary Farm haunted house.
:D

There was an AWESOME haunted house in Indiana 6 or 7 years ago, that had "tight spaces" - including an area that you had to crawl through a collapsible tube and there were rats crawling all over.

Not cool. I am reading the article and the next thing I know The Boy has put a rat in my shirt.

That Weekly cover, given slightly different composition, could be a stretching portrait in the gallery, don't you think?

Yes! that sums up my feelings about it very well. I just couldn't quite put my finger on it - it was familier feeling somehow in an icky weird way.
