So we're finally jumping on the HD bandwagon. The old tv needs to go. Before we have the delivery guys haul it off, I thought I would offer it up here.

It's big, it's heavy, it's oak, it occasionally requires "the percussion treatment" to line up the red, but hey, it's free for the taking if you haul it off before the delivery guys come. (Bring friends).

Call or pm me if you want it. I don't know how long til delivery date but let me know ASAP.

KatieSue's one is on the blink - 1/2" tall by 9 feet wide image (which is no mean feet (ooops pun) on a 36" screen).

Dudes - you should hook up. Only last time I saw the KS, she was in San Diego on a milkshake ride.

Love to Both,

The Stoat XXX.

So, an update... the delivery guys with the new tv are coming this weekend, so if you're interested, you have till then.

The basics: 50" diagonal on the screen. Actual dimensions (including the wood cabinet) are more like 53" wide x 52" tall, x 25" deep on the sides and about 35" deep counting the tube part that sticks out in back. And it's on wheels.

It doesn't work properly.

Right. You have to HIT it to make it work.

Oh the irony.

I thought of that. Can you leave my brain now? It's already full. K, thx.

Dear BTD,

What makes you think the Violence Centers don't work?

Right. You have to HIT it to make it work.

Oh the irony.

Dear NA,

The whole point of a Violence Center is to reduce violence. You shouldn't suggest hitting it.

It would be a better idea to give them the TV.

Love and hugs,

Have you Craigslisted it?

Nah.

Most likely we'll have it hauled away by the delivery guys, but if someone here was interested in it, I'd be just as happy to give it. I have considered like Goodwill or Boys & Girls Club... Goodwill has people who can do repairs, I think. But the chance of getting that set up before Saturday is pretty slim.

Is that what they said when you called? Try Out of the Closet.
