When Miley turns 16, it’s cause to celebrate! And there’s no better place to celebrate than at a Disney Park.

To honor the occasion, Disneyland in California has created “Miley’s Sweet 16 – Share The Celebration,” an unforgettable event for Miley and her fans that also will serve to recognize Youth Service America and help drive awareness of the need for youth volunteerism.

The Hollywood-style bash is planned for Sunday, Oct. 5, from 6 to 11 p.m., with ticket sales limited to 5,000 fans. Tickets, priced at $250, go on sale at 9 a.m. PDT, Saturday, Aug.

For Miley, the birthday bash is a once-in-a-lifetime event and she plans to make new Disney theme park memories during the evening. “I only turn 16 once, so it’s going to be an awesome party with my favorite rides, hanging out with friends, fireworks and more,” she said. “I’ll even get to sing a couple songs.

Not sure. Everything I see says 'Disneyland Resort in California' or just 'Disneyland Resort'. I bet you're right though. They're making it seem like it's at Disneyland (showing the castle and all) and they'll probably have it at DCA.

Well at some point Disneyland area will be involved due to the "special fireworks show" and considering they are making it a special hard ticket event for 5000 I think you're going to need a park hopper to enjoy the event to the fullest.

Planning on staying away that weekend...hmmm maybe head to Magic Mt for their Halloween thing. My friend Becky went to Patty's Diner in Toluca Lake on Sunday Aug 17th and saw Miley riding her bike with her mom and brother and sister and they ate there. She might have been on TMZ since when they went to back out of their parking spot the paparatzi were there.

Poor kids who want to go. I pitty the cast members having to deal with this. And if they were to close Disneyland early 6pm that would sux for out of towners and those who don't care about Miley.

Sorry but even if someone has enough money like that to do something like that just plain wrong and rude for the rest of the general public. Ok maybe i'd feel differently if it were Bon Jovi but hey it's not so. Yeah right making new theme park memories my butt.

The official Disneyland hours have been updated. Closing at 5, and it will be Disneyland, not DCA or a hotel.

I actually hope I get to work this event. I kinda enjoy Miley.....not a lot, but a little. It's the kids who would be special to work with.
