I was checking out Disney.com and under the video section I found http://disney.go.com/videos/#/videos/classics/.
They use to air the classic Disney stuff a few years ago on the Disney channel starting at 12am. Then replaced it with all Disney channel shows.
Some of the sub-sections include:
*Walt Disney Family Muesum
*Classic Cartoons
*Behind the story
*Learn about Disney
It's a cool website

Potentially a wonderful thing, but damnation, Disney just sucks at internet stuff. First of all, their pages are so overloaded with flash crap, the interface is impossible, the pages are ugly and cluttered - it's a frustrating, slow loading experience, even with broadband.
I would love it if Disney would emulate the wonderful hulu.com and set up entire seasons of shows like Zorro, the original Mickey Mouse Club and of course the Wonderful World of Disney/Color. Include a full-screen option, an HD 420p option, and limited unskippable (but brief) ads and it would be fantastic. As long as Disney is uninterested in showing the library stuff on cable, this would be a profitable and much needed way to keep their vast library accessible. As it is, every time I go to an official Disney website, I leave very quickly.

I'm just glad to see some of the classic stuff. I think Zorro & the MMC is dvd.

It is nice to see some of this stuff online but it is very frustrating navigating to watch the content you want to watch.

Frankly, I want to watch TV in my living room on my couch. Not in my office at a desk.

Has the copyright on any of the classics expired yet?

Nothing that Disney owns a copyright on will ever expire. (http://writ.news.findlaw.com/commentary/20020305_sprigman.html)
