Coolness. If i didn't have to work on the 27th next Saturday we'd go on Saturday. But figured hey Sunday less crowded it's still prescare weekend and alot of people have to go to work on Monday and school too and i don't work so it's easier to plan than to ask for the day off now that i have a boss who doesn't care and won't grant days off. If i have to i'm going over his head to coporate about this days off thing. Have fun Joe! We'll miss you by 1 day but heard Erik is going on the 28th too so we're planning on meeting up at some point. Also Oct 31st we're going with Mark, Brad, Heidi and Tom as of now. Anyone else want to join in feel free. I'd love a huge group of us and Heidi and Tom are first time Haunt virgins mwaahhhh.....

I'm not a Haunt Virgin, but it's seriously been at least 20 years.
I'm leery of going on Halloween though. I usually have other plans that night.

Halloween night is the best time to go although this year it falls on a Friday night. Usually weeknights when Halloween falls on Mon thru Thur it is very quiet less crowded and the monsters are asking Trick Or Treating for candy from the guests. Not sure if this year will be more crowded considering it's on a Friday night but still a tradition we've been attending for years now and can't break the tradition at least not this year. Usually buy bulk candy to give to the monsters. It's a blast.

How much are tickets, and how do I get one? If it's not too expensive, I may buy one just in case ... because I won't know if my usual Hallowee night plans are happening until Oct. 18.

We have discount coupons you can use online special website or else in person for Halloween night for $29.99 but that is cuz we are season passholders and they send up them in the mail. That is $20 off. Otherwise Halloween night in person at the park are $49.99 if you wait til day of event it is over $50. Prescare dinner is worth it. You can either call via phone or make reservations online if you go to www.knotts.com and they are booking fast so. We have reservations for the VIP one $18.99 for Halloween night at 5pm.
You can go to Burger King and get discount coupons. Not sure how much off they are but i think about $5 off the ticket.
I know someone that is waiting for their coupon book for the discount. Is it ONLY for Halloween night or does it offer discounts for other nights as well? I wonder if it's worth waiting for the coupons to show in the mail and risk the nights of choice being sold out.

It is for all nights of Haunt. There are different dates of Haunt (i.e. Sept 25, 26, 28 Oct 1,2, 5,8,9,10,12,15&22nd are all $27.99 and there are 5 coupons for all those nights you can use. Ok for each coupon you can get up to 6 tickets per night. Then on the other side the other 5 coupons are for Oct16,19,23,26,29,30,31 and Nov 1 are $29.99. It does say in fine print if night is sold out can't be used. Not sure cuz i know our coupon it's a flyer that was sent to us was sent last week i'd say a week ago. It does say Annual Passholder so with our address on the front obviously. Since Oct 12th we are doing the hotel package we didn't need the coupons and didn't wait to get our Halloween night ones so we missed out on using the coupons for that night but used the coupons for Sunday's.

What i didn't mention is each night with the coupons it is $20 off each ticket. So depends how much you're willing to wait or spend. That's what i was afraid of for Halloween night and thus we didn't wait to get our tickets.
