the music world got a little sadder today, RIP. I, too, was raised on Motown (still one of my favorite logos and vinyl record labels) :(

Four Tops - what great music! Levi was fantastic as Audrey II! As much as I hate to lose all of these wonderful performers, I am so glad that I live at a time when their work can be preserved and enjoyed, and I can carry all of it with me wherever I go. so long, Mr. Stubbs.

When I was spinning Oldies and DooWop years ago many of my listeners were from (or grew up in) places like Pittsburgh and Philly. Their DJ's loved to flip records over and those songs would become regional hits. These listeners turned me on to many of those sides and one of them has become my favorite Four Tops tune and one of my favorite songs period!
