I started strong... but staring at the screen screwed me up... I'd probably do better with pantone chips.

Hi NA,
I got a score of 32, but I'm not sure if the test is valid in terms of the gamma correction and colour profile of the actual monitor from which one is viewing the test.
Nonetheless, the highest (worst) score in my demographic was 1450, so I'm ahead of the pack there, and obviously not colour blind.
That said, check out the "Requiem" thread and you'll see me see RED.
Love and hugs,
The Stoat XXX.

I got a 14, but it's late, I'm heading off to bed, and the lighting is dim here at the computer. I know I have a good eye for color hue, as color is my favorite thing to do in hairdressing. We deal with a lot of other variables, but being able to differentiate between subtle hues is very important for a colorist. They tested us in school and anyone who failed the color test could not be certified in chemical services that involved coloring. That slight difference between one hue to the next is the difference between gorgeous and hideous, and if you can't see it you're in trouble.

Heh! I got a 15 and figured I'd done badly (if a lower score is better.) Guess I did OK! I have a harder time right in the middle of the transitions, I think.
DP... I see color-correction work in your future! : )

When I took this test (in college - I took an entire course on color) based on physical chipsets, I scored perfectly.

Um, I kid you all not - I scored zero. Wow. I have perfect color vision!
So, do I go into interior decorating now?

I'm impressed with how well the guys are doing- many men have some degree of color blindness (or so we were told) and aren't even aware of it. (Remember that scene with in 'Little Miss Sunshine'?)

To be noted, they BOTH use Macs... Hrmmm...
In other news, I got an 8. Blue/Green being my trouble area. It was too easy to get screwed up there, IMO.

Actually, I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but I think the test is more to do with how good your attention span is.
It's such a long drawn out pedantic process I just said "Fvck it - that looks about right". I might take it again properly sometime....

I thought that was going to be the case, but it started come together pretty quickly for me. Which surprised me as I always thought I was bad at such things.
Crap, so now I can't blame my bad taste on THAT anymore.

Or how willing you are to spend time perfecting an internet test. Life is too short for perfect answers.
(My excuse for scoring over 100...)

(how did you guys get the little screen shot up there?)On a Mac, use an application called Grab (comes standard on all Macs and can be found in the Utilities folder. I pasted it into Photoshop and saved it as a GIF.

You could also do it in Windows using the [Print Screen] button and Paint. Both come standard in Windows, no need to spend hundreds of dollars on Photoshop.
And I got a 4. Had I not gone bug-eyed from the bright colors on the black background sometime in the middle of the second row, I may have done batter.
