Can I still claim one even though I haven't watched a single pitch of the World Series?

Do they smell better than a wet monkey?

Steal a base, steal a taco, run home and run for the bathroom! It's Free Taco Day tomorrow!

:D

I'm going to visit several Taco Bells tomorrow.

About the same...but for obvious reasons.

Some day, there is going to be some thread archeology performed. Somebody is going to look at this thread and wonder just what in the hell were we talking about?!?

As opposed to all the other threads here?

You couldn't pay me to eat a taco bell taco.

I don't know if I've ever eaten a taco bell taco but you could pay me to eat a chicken cheesy gordita crunch. Yes, you could.

I had not one, but TWO crunchy tacos last Saturday. Hadn't eaten at Taco Bell in years. Their regular crunchy tacos are sort of like a comfort food in an odd way.

I feel that way about Jack in the Box tacos...drunken comfort food. We are the only city in America that doesn't have a JitB. That makes my greasy cheese sad. :(

Alex, not only could you pay me, I might pay them. But hold the chicken. And only once a year. Not the regular tacos, though, and especially not the beef.

Bewitched, you're not alone. Before I moved out west, I had never even been to a Jack in the Box.

I prefer Del Taco over Taco Bell. In fact, the only time I go to Taco Bell is when my friend is craving it. Which is silly, cause there is a Del Taco on the corner.

However, I did discover that TB fresco tacos are pretty good.

I prefer Del Taco over Taco Bell. The Drunken Seamstress does too. But it is like preferring death by firing squad over death by electric chair.

I prefer Del Taco for chicken soft tacos and maybe quesadillas. But we don't have any convenient to here.

Free-super-colon-clean-out at Taco Bell, I love it.

And I thought it was just me that experienced those after effects.

What's up with that?

I don't get that with other mexican food places... even fast food ones like Miguel's Jr.

Do they put something special in there?

I don't get that with other mexican food places...Your first mistake is assuming that Taco Bell is "Mexican."

I paid for Taco Bell tacos just last Saturday. It was our quick comfort, revival meal before the home stretch into the party.

I don't think I want another so soon, not even for free.

I concur with Alex. As long as they get the "chicken" part right.

I suppose the free tacos are of the standard beef variety?

I passed one. I turned around and pulled into the parking lot. I got out of my car. I put my hand on the door. Then I realized I was about to stand in line for a crappy taco I didn't particularly want, that only cost $1.50 to begin with, simply because it was free. I got back in my car.

I missed Taco & Run day, due to paper-grading, packing activities, and general spasticalities beyond my immediate control. I may have to drown my resulting sorrows in PAY tacos from the competition.

...a crappy taco I didn't particularly want, that only cost $1.50 to begin with...I believe that they are only $0.99/ea. At least that's what I paid last weekend.

I think this thread should have been titled: "Free Diarrhea @ Taco Bell Tomorrow" :D

Seriously, my "cast-iron stomach" days have been over since my college days. What kind of meat is that again? Stray gato? Sumerian rat monkey?
