I wanna see. Forget Brad's party, we're going to the movies. ;)

Judi Dench is my favorite Bond girl.

I'm with you GC.
I'm not sure what to think of this one.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Post-Connery, every other Bond film sucks.
The last one was great.
just sayin'

Intentional spelling aside, Daniel Craig has proven HE IS Bond. Cannot wait!
It's a shame too see about a dozen Aston Martin's destroyed to make this film. ;)

I am unsure... I didn't much care for the last one.

A shame? That's the best part. Bring on the crashes and explosions. Oh, and no 'Q' in this one. That's a good thing too now that Cleese is playing that role.

And here I am thinking that some new bond measure passed or something. Perhaps it's time for me to stop thinking about politics for a while. :)

I will likely go see it the following weekend. I liked Casino Royale.

I'm planning on going to see it... but Mark Kermode (whose opinion I almost always trust) apparently didn't like it. I'm not going to listen to the review until I see the movie, though.

Ha ha, me too. When I saw the title last night (along with two other new posts) I taunted Steve that there were three new election threads. And then I had to eat my words because the "Bond" was James.

The shame is that I can't have one. ;) Even with a few scraps and dents.
Just so exotic.

I'm telling you, the Bond curse is that every other post-Connery movie is awful. (I have actually come to like a few of those, but concede they are basically terrible movies).

I love love love the genre of Bond movies. I liked Pierce Brosnan as Bond. I'm not terribly fond of Daniel Craig.
I'm hoping I will like this one. Hoping for cool toys, good chases (the last one had a great chase), hot women, and an actual plot.

I love love love Daniel Craig as Bond. Easily the best Bond since Sean (in my humble Forever-Bond-Fan opinion).

No, not at all.
Does he get naked in this film? When does it open?
(haha, i loved typing 'end size' after asking if Daniel Craig gets naked)

I don't know, but he certainly was in Casino Royale. Here's hoping!

It'd certainly be easier to like the guy if I thought he was hot.
I do get the Bond girls, though, and Judi Dench. :)

OMG, yes. And clothed, for that matter. Which is why I will go see the new Bond movie, I don't care how much it may (or may not) suck.
