To help us all understand (pronounciations, for Lashbear, if needed)
VAM = Visible Alex Mojo
I can't recall the particulars, Alex gives no mojo and does not like to receive it, either. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Alex claims he doesn't read his mojo comments. On top of that he says he prefers that people say something publicly so everyone knows that someone agrees with him. He's insecure like that.

Maybe this thread should be merged into this one (http://www.loungeoftomorrow.com/LoT/showthread.php?t=3292).
I do eventually see all mojo comments, I just don't care if I get them. And to date I have never (that I recall) given one.
And way back when the reason I stated for preferring public statemetns is that frequently I'm out there arguing some point -- apparently in the wilds all by myself while getting mojos or PMs in agreement.
Plus, mojo comments are a pain in the ass to reply to and so serve no conversational purpose. Every time someone sends a mojo comment that contains a question or furtherance of the public conversation I hate that person a little bit. So if you want to comment on what I say but really don't want to do it publicly please use private messages, I probably still won't reply but at least it will be easy to do so.
So ultimately it boils down to the fact that I see no value or purpose in the mojo system beyond mutual masturbation (of the figurative type).

You have. You should be able to see it in your control panel.

Meh.
So I did. Ponine was the lucky recipient of my one given mojo. So, I suppose I'll have to spread some around should I wish to so honor her again (though speaking of her, is she still posting here, seems like it has been a long time since I've seen her name -- I know, I could look it up).
Out of curiosity, is there some way you can tell that I'd given a mojo that is available to everybody or were you using administrator powers? I don't care if you did, just curious.

Actually, I'm on a board where everyone has administrative/mod powers. It's fairly small and other than doing annoying things like changing people's screen name, pictures, sigs, etc. (not that I'd know anything about that!), everyone pretty much behaves. On the other hand, we are mostly all RL friends (or friends of friends) and it's not a public board, so maybe that's why.
