Just posting a bit of a recommendation.

If you happen to be in the market for wall art, or want to get a custom giclee print of something, I HIGHLY recommend Great Wall (http://www.greatwallonline.com/).

Not only are their prices good and quality excellent for giclee prints, their service is above and beyond.

To make a long story short, I ordered and hung a giclee print. The hanging hardware on the print failed, dropping and damaging it. The damage was minor, so I was fine with rehanging it, so I wrote to them asking for advice on a better hanging solution that wouldn't fail. Instead, they told me to just take a photo of the damage and they'd send me a reprint asap! Even when I delayed in responding to that, they did exactly that within a couple days (I'll be getting the replacement by the end of the week).

Seriously, that just rules.

Hey wadda ya know Giclee is in fact not a person, it is a process (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giclee)by which a print is made from an ink jet printer. I learn something new everyday.

Are they going to need a new name for prints made from a color laser printer?

Perhaps I will have to start work on my own "great wall". I have one large wall in the basement that is embarrassingly blank. I've been toying with the idea of making it a map wall using google earth. The plan is to zoom into my house , cut/print/paste that in the center of the wall and then move out in all directions from there until I fill the entire wall.

Great to know GD. I love hearing that there are still companies in this world who believe that doing things right is the way to conduct business!
