Well yesterday was 88°F in my area of Garden Grove, and real windy with the Santa Ana winds. The hotest in the nation was 90°F in Santa Ana (serves them right for making wind:D ). Tomorrow will be -50°F in South Dekoda.

Interesting weather these days. What's it like in your area?

Beautiful. A bright blue sky with a few wispy clouds floating by majestically. A good soft breeze whispering through the trees. Quite lovely in fact.

If it wasn't 34 degrees.

libraryvixen and I are in the California cold still, but I think Snowflake is warmer. San Francisco was beautiful on Sunday when I was there.

This morning when I got in the car it was 37 degrees. Oh, and Nick O'Time is in Modesto, I think it is a little chilly there also.

46, clear and calm in Palo Alto. Or so says Google, I haven't looked outside yet.

I wouldn't mind the wind so much if it didn't dry everything out. The heat? 60's and 70's in January is brag-worthy. 80's and 90's? Blech!

Yeah, although a wet sweater contest would not have quite the same cache so it goes both ways.

It has been a ridiculously cold winter thus far here in the Midwest.

Overcast and 28 F; we're due for some snow today.

The arctic blast that is hitting almost the entire country except CA and the SW is coming tomorrow and we'll be heading to highs only into the teens with lows below zero F.

Up here both San Francisco and Oakland set their record highs for January 13 IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

Because even the cooled down termperature at 12:01 this morning from yesterday's highs were higher than the record for the day.

It's windy here, with a pleasant temperature. The only thing I don't like about the weather right now is the dryness.

I hate the wind. It stresses me out. I like the after-affects (clear skies, etc.) but bad memories of brush fires and burning embers landing on our old wood shake roof when I was a wee lad (of ToriBear and PoloMadz age) just don't help.

It's about 35 degrees and foggy up here- it's been hovering above freezing for a week or so and I couldn't be happier. The humongous amounts of snow have gradually eroded and it is starting to look like normal winter out there.

It's foggy and cool, probably in the 40's. The part of the valley we live in though never seems to clear the fog away lately. It's like living in a spooky movie according to the kid!

The sun's out and I'm freakin' hot. Everyone here thinks I have male menopause.

83 and no wind, but it's very dry. I was wearing a turtleneck sweater at work this morning and it came right off first thing home.

You're welcome.

;)

The wind just shifted to an on shore flow. That signals the begining of the end for the Santa Ana winds. Thank God.....

If this thread goes on much longer I'm going to start questioning the value of weather.com.

But so far we've still missed a few zip codes.

I miss Texas. :(

Today, it's kinda weird to think about the fact that it is lethal to just stand outside today.
