Bear...Bear !!!
We get to slob around in our shorts, get wasted on beer, and hear some wanna-be mangle our national anthem. I hope Roseanne [Arnold] isn't in town...or that Maniah chick that warbles around every note like she's in church.
Or what if it's Florence Foster Jenkins? If it's her [Google that one, we have the album and will send you a sample if you ask], I'm going to get another slab* of beer...or maybe several, so I can jump off the stack before she tries to hit the high notes.
Yay !!! ;)
Love and hugs,
The Stoat XXX.

Well actually it's a Grevillia, which is an Australian native plant...the type that our parrots and other birds love to feed off.
Ps/ Bitch. ;)

Didn't recognize the planty thing, but the star placement looks like the ones on their flag (what's the significance of that arrangement, anyway?)

Golden Wattle? Okay, now you're just making up fake ridiculous Australian sounding words to see if we're paying attention.

Dear GD
The golden flowers (in the Google Logo) that Bear told you about are even featured in a song:
"Wattle I do
when you
are are far
away
and I
am blue
wattle I do".
Sheesh. I think I'm going to have to employ an Ashtrayan to Merkin translator.
Love and hugs,
The Stoat XXX.

Ashtrayan to Merkin translator.
From ash tray to pubic wig? That's a leap - or maybe more of a wattle.

Arrangement of stars on flag = The Southern Cross (http://www.aussie-info.com/identity/scross.php) Come downunder and see it, sometime.
Where I grew up, there was a Southern Cross on every corner. Why would I want to travel all the way downunder just to see one?
I mean, granted, yours is probably the biggest, but ours comes in just about every neon color of the rainbow....and I'll bet yours doesn't say "JESUS SAVES" underneath either.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I know about the wattle from Monty Python:
"This here's the wattle, the emblem of our land. You can stick it in a bottle, you can hold it in your hand. Amen!"
Happy Australia Day!

1. So size DOES matter.
2. Ours says " JESUS SAVES SINNERS AND REDEEMS THEM FOR VALUABLE PRIZES".

No poofters!
Wait, I'm confused.
Australia is a real place? I thought it was just silly nonsense like Talk Like a Pirate Day and writs of habeus corpus.
