Charles Darwin was born on this day in 1809, so this marks the 200th anniversary of his birth. This year is also the 150th anniversary of the publication of "Origin of the Species".
I plan on celebrating by continuing to not be suckered in by the pseudoscience knows as "intelligent design", listening to my favorite podcast, The Skeptics' Guide to the Universe (http://www.theskepticsguide.org/), and re-reading "Ten Major Flaws of Evolution - A Refutation (http://skepticblog.org/2009/02/09/ten-major-flaws-of-evolution-a-refutation/)" by Steven Novella.
How will you celebrate?
